Hello stranger, and welcome to the website! This place was built as an informal and somewhat self-indulgent digital scrapbook, made with the intent of creating a space on the internet that I could host and experiment with my work and my interests. I started developing this website during the final year of my university course, where it was initially only made as a portfolio host, but I have since expanded it into what you see here today!

Everything that you see on this site is either a product of my own design, or something that I wanted to share that has a link back to the original source.

If you wish to share or discuss anything you see here, you can talk to me on any of my socials (although I am most active on Tumblr), or you can link back to here on your own website with this button below! (Remember to host it on your own site and avoid hot-linking as any changes I make may break link sources...)

Self-Portrait

I'm ConnectedPortal, although I go by many names with the people who know me. I am a digital artist and aspiring game developer who has spent the past few years learning and experimenting with any creative outlet that I could get my hands on. Although, sharing what I have made online is a task I commit to infrequently enough that I have collected a large back-log of work that I need to share with the world. I suppose that's one of the reasons as to why I have this website after all!

I work in a variety of 2D and 3D mediums, which you can see examples of on the rest of this site; and I am not afraid to experiment with a new technique or medium if it will allow me to learn and will help push a project to be better than it would be without it.

A lot of what I work on tends to lean more towards horror, meta-narrative, or whatever my most recent interest is that has taken my thoughts by storm. Although, I will never be exclusive to these topics as experimentation is the name of the game. Plus, I love taking apart works of various genres in order to understand how the pieces fit (and maybe to take some to put into my own toolbox). You've got to be flexible like that as a creative!

In any case, I hope you enjoy my work. I have a lot of irons in the fire right now, so I'd best get back to work, shouldn't I?
